Ration Hint No. 14
To keep yolks of eggs fresh and stop them drying out.
Place the unbroken egg yolks in cold water.
Have sufficient cold water in the cup or bowl, to cover the egg yolks and they will keep perfectly.
My son and I are giving ourselves a challenge to follow the WWII Rationing of food with the guidelines from the Ministry of Food. We will also be learning about other aspects of life during this time in history. It will be a great learning exercise for my son whom I homeschool and will be fun too.
